Gold Star Catering has developed an excellent reputation for providing first-class customer service to our clients alongside our indulgent buffet catering. Using the very best of local and seasonal produce from the local area, our talented chef-Maxine Ball, provides standard buffet menus and bespoke menus tailored to our clients varying ideas, concepts and food requirements. We adhere to all food hygiene regulations. Gold Star Catering was very proud to be awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 by Lancaster City Council on our most recent inspection of 1st November 2022.

Maxine is now proud to be the official caterer at The Morecambe & Heysham Masonic Hall and the premises was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating 5 by LCC on 27th July 2021

Gold Star Catering can cater to any special requirements; Maxine is fully allergen trained and food will be prepared separately to avoid cross contamination. At Gold Star Catering, we understand that food allergies are a serious concern for many of our clients and their guests. Our allergy-aware buffet catering service is designed to provide a delicious and safe dining experience for everyone, regardless of dietary restrictions or food sensitivities. Maxine is fully trained and certified by Lancaster City Council (Allergen Awareness and control in Catering) and fully compliant with the Food Standards Agency (Safer Food, Better Business, SFBB). Allergen matrix sheets can be provided for every menu and we are more than happy to create allergen free menus on request.

Before your event, Maxine at Gold Star Catering is happy to carry out a consultation to discuss any specific allergy concerns and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken. We work closely with our customers to create a buffet menu that accommodates all your guests' dietary needs, including common allergens like nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish and more.
